Paymasters
A paymaster is a company that is responsible for remitting
payment to the talent on behalf of the client. Each
paymaster charges a different fee for their services;
however, it is well worth it.
When hiring union talent, appropriate taxes must be
taken out. The paymaster will make sure that is done
along with talent agent commission, contributions to
AFTRA Health and Retirement, etc.
