One of the advantages of having administrative capabilities with AFTRA Trisate Talent's website is the ability to add and update talent information on the web at anytime. All Union members in good standing will receive a username and password via email for Tier 1 access after they have been entered into the system by the local union office. Tier 1 access provides members the ability to display a large photograph and provide basic Specialty, Key Talent, Resume, and Background information about themselves. An additional level of representation, Tier 2, is provided for a nominal fee of $75.00 per year. Tier 2 provides the ability to upload multiple audio and video demo reels that showcase your individual talents and capabilities.

Once a member has received their email containing their username and password, members may access http://www.tristateaftra.com/admin/ log into the system by clicking on the "Log-In" button located on the top right hand corner of the website. The administrative page for Tier 1 and Tier 2 talent will be the same the the single exception being that Tier 2 talent will have the ability to upload multiple audio and video demo reels to their profile page.

After logging into your administrative page, you will notice your name on the top of the page followed a "Website - http://" field. This field allows members that have their own personal websites to enter the URL or "www" address for that website. Additionally if you have an additional web presence on an agent or representatives site you can enter their web address in the provided field. You are not required to enter an address into this field.

Next members will notice a space for indicating "specialties" - either On-Camera or Voice. Place a checkmark for the specialties that pertain to you and your talents.

In the following fields, members will note the ability to checkoff specific "key talents", once again, place a checkmark next to the talents that pertain to you.

The next section outlines specific profile information in drop down boxes this includes: Age, Height, Weight, Hair Color, etc. Please should answer these questions appropriately.

Immediately following the profile are is a text field reserved for Agent Information. If you are represented by an Agent or other Representative, please place their Name, Company Name, and Telephone Number in the space provided.

The following section is a text box entitled "Background", this are provides an opportunity for you to provide some basic information about yourself, background, training, etc. This section is immediate followed by another text field called "special talents", use this section to provide detailed information about any specific "unique" talents you might possess such as: Character Voices, your ability to perform a great Jack Benny impersonation, etc.

The next section underneath special talents is where members will upload the large photo that displays their image. To upload this photo users will need to first have selected the photograph the want displayed and save it as a .jpeg to their computers desktop. The .jpeg photo should be 276 Pixels wide by 359 Pixels tall and at a image resolution no higher than 72 dpi. To upload the image, click the browse button and find your desktop and the image you saved. Highlight this image, and click the "open" button. This will upload the image into the database.

For the resume section, members should create their resumes and save them out as a PDF file to their computers desktop. The upload for the resume is exactly the same as the upload for the large image. Click on the browse button, find your PDF resume on your desktop, highlight it, and then click the open button. This will upload the PDF into your profile page.

The following capabilities are available to Tier 2 talent only. Tier 2 talent are capable of uploading an addition three photographs of themselves. The photos should be saved in the same file dimensions and uploaded the same as the large image, as indicated above.

Additionally,Tier 2 talent are enabled with the ability to upload up to 3 Audio and Video demo reels. To upload the video reels, have your reel converted from Video format into a Quicktime movie that is 320 pixels wide by 240 pixels tall and be no longer than 60 seconds. The movie should play no more than 15 frames per second (15 FPS) and be encoded utilizing the Sorenson codec. The video should also be capable of displaying millions of colors and optimized for internet streaming utilizing a media cleaner. The total video and audio file upload cannot exceed 2 MB in file size. The member should name this file as a single word that is descriptive of its contents such as: commercial, industrial, film, etc. What a member names the file will be displayed underneath the demo reel when the file is upload. Click on the browse button, find your video demo on your desktop, highlight it, and then click the open button. This will upload the video demo reel into your profile page.

To upload audio files, members have their demo reels converted to MP3 files that are 98-128 kbps at 22.5-44.1 kHz and be no longer than :60 seconds in length. Once again, name the file so that it is descriptive of the type of demo reel it is and save it to your desktop. Click on the browse button, find your audio demo on your desktop, highlight it, and then click the open button. This will upload the audio demo reel into your profile page.

The local union office can recommend production facilities for converting demo reels.

Once all of the above steps have been performed, please click the update button on the bottom of the page to save all changes. Now a member can click the "Visit Site" link on the upper left hand side of the page to view the information in a web based format. Your username and password will always work, and we encourage members to keep their profile page up-to-date. For any additional questions or information, please don't hesistate to call the office.
